Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Eucalyptus

On March 22, 2012, AWS and Eucalyptus announced an agreement that enables customers to more efficiently migrate workloads between their existing data centers and AWS while using the same management tools and skills across both environments.

You can learn more about the agreement here: www.eucalyptus.com/news/amazon-web-services-and-eucalyptus-partner.

You're Invited to EucaDay NYC!

Join us for the inaugural Eucalyptus conference, taking place in New York City on Wednesday, April 25. EucaDay NYC will be an entire day of education and celebration of the cloud, bringing together customers, partners, and the Eucalyptus Community.

The day will include keynotes by Marten Mickos and Tim Cramer, taking you through what's new with Eucalyptus 3 as well as customer and partner case studies and a session on the Eucalyptus Community hosted by Greg DeKoenigsberg. We'll close the day with a fun and festive EucaSocial reception. See the full agenda.

Register for EucaDay NYC here.

You're Also Invited to the 1st NYC Eucalyptus Cloud Meetup!

Join us at the 1st NYC EucaMeetup on Tuesday, April 10 at the Consulate General of Finland in New York City. We are excited to host the evening event at this awesome location.

The Eucalyptus Team will take a deep-dive into our new release, Eucalyptus 3, and will also discuss highly available cloud services in an application self-service world.

Register for EucaMeetup here.

Eucalyptus Education: Maximize the Cloud

Eucalyptus recently launched nine instructor-led courses designed to support Eucalyptus 3 and the needs of different learners.

Maybe you are new to cloud and would like someone to guide you through the seemingly complex maze of terminology and technical concepts. Maybe you are a Eucalyptus expert and just need targeted training in a few key areas. Maybe you want to be taken from zero to cloud administrator in as short a time period as possible.

Whatever your situation, we've got you covered here. Prices start at $79, and hands-on courses start at $399.

Discover Eucalyptus 3

Eucalyptus 3 is designed to be the most comprehensive update for enterprise-grade, open source Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

Eucalyptus 3 gives customers the assurance that the applications and data in their on-premise clouds are highly available and will not be affected by underlying hardware or network failure.

Read the Eucalyptus 3 overview and learn more about Eucalyptus 3 features and functionality.

Take the CloudCamp Survey

CloudCamp has partnered with the Silicon Valley Cloud Center & IT Process Institute to research the secrets of cloud success.

By taking this survey, you can benchmark your IaaS cloud related efforts with other top-performing IT organizations and find out if you rank with other cloud masters.

If you qualify and complete the survey before March 30, you will receive a free benchmark report that identifies cloud best practices, and how your cloud skills and results compare with everyone else.

Take the CloudCamp survey.
